Although we think of perfect skin as “soft as a baby’s bottom”, sometimes children have skin issues as well. We’re here to help.

We treat a wide range of pediatric skin conditions, starting from the very first day of life. With an emphasis on gentle, conservative approaches to minimize discomfort for children and their families, our kid-friendly office means more than just having stickers and treats – but don't worry, we have those, too! We focus on minimizing discomfort from procedures and use a variety of techniques that are evidence-based to help us accomplish this goal.

Atopic Dermatitis (Eczema)

This frustrating condition often appears in the first few months of life and is often persistent for years. When parents are concerned about chronic steroid use or when it does not control the itching or rash, we can offer additional treatment strategies.

Moles (Nevi)/Birthmarks

Moles and birthmarks can be alarming in appearance in newborns, infants, children and adolescents. While the majority of the time reassurance is the only treatment necessary, occasionally they can be a precursor to something that needs attention. We coordinate care with your pediatrician to determine the best options for your child.

Rashes

Occasionally children develop rashes that occur and persist for no apparent reason. Our job is to assist your pediatrician as to the diagnoses and coordinate care.

Molluscum/Warts

These viral infections are pesky and frustrating. Often they do require multiple treatments to be eradicated. We provide painless options for the more anxious children.

Acne

This condition will afflict 85% of teenagers and is emotionally distressing. We offer a variety of treatment options tailored to each patient.

Hair/Nail Disorders

We diagnose and treat most hair or nail problems that arise in children.
