At Adult and Pediatric Dermatology we use safe, proven treatments for the treatment of scars, fine wrinkles, unwanted pigment and sun damage.

Our patients are looking to freshen their appearance and peel off a few years of sun damage without excessive down time or discomfort. Our goal is to maintain an natural appearance by improving the texture and tone of the skin. We embrace time-proven treatment options while staying current on new technological advances. Our consultation will determine which options can provide what you are seeking.

BOTOX® Cosmetic

BOTOX® Cosmetic is a treatment that can reduce the contraction of muscles that cause facial lines over time, resulting in smoother skin. Lasting for 3-6 months, it can also be used to block the nerve signal to control excessive sweating in localized areas. Approved by the FDA in 2002, it has been shown to be safe and effective in numerous studies.

Dermal fillers help to diminish facial lines and restore volume and fullness in the face. As we age, our faces naturally lose subcutaneous fat. The facial muscles are then working closer to the skin surface, so smile lines and crow's feet become more apparent.

  • Enhance shallow contours
  • Soften facial creases and wrinkles
  • Improve the appearance of recessed scars
  • Reconstruct contour deformities in the face and skin surface, so smile lines and crow's feet become more apparent.

Chemical Peels

Chemical peels refer to different types of gentle acids – most derived from natural sources – that can exfoliate the skin. We have a wide range of options, from mild peels which can brighten the skin, to more powerful ones that can unclog pores, smooth scar tissue, and lighten dark areas. With the careful selection and application of a peel, these are safe, effective treatments for all skin types.

Intense Pulse Light (IPL)

This gentle, non-ablative treatment uses broad-spectrum light to treat skin concerns such as age spots, red and brown skin pigmentations, rosacea and broken capillaries, and improves the overall appearance of the skin by stimulating collagen reproduction. IPL is a great option for patients looking for maximum results with little to no down time. Results can be seen in as little as 1-2 treatments for some skin concerns, with maximum results in the majority of skin concerns achieved in 3-6 sessions.

At Adult and Pediatric Dermatology, we offer a variety of medical grade therapeutic products that can only be purchased from a licensed medical professional. Most of our products contain active ingredients in much higher concentrations than those available over-the-counter or in salons. We work to customize a skin care regimen that is right for you.
